As part of its nationwide hygiene and sanitation campaign to drive behavioural change amongst devotees, RB in association with Jagran Pehel and Government of Bihar have launched an initiative at the Ganga Ghat in Patna on Chatt Puja. The initiative was launched by Honble Shri Nand Kishore Yadav, Senior Cabinet Minister, Bihar wherein facilities such as fixed Dettol hand wash booths, placement of BSI mobile toilets, construction of changing rooms, emergency medical support and information desk were installed to ensure a safe environment for devotees at Ganga Ghat. Eminent leaders such as Shri Pashupati Kumar Paras, Member of Lok Janshakti Party and Mr. Rana Randhir, Cooperation Minister along with other representatives from RB were also present during the event. RB along with its partners also announced their efforts towards making 100 villages in Bihar open defecation free with the help of Sanitation Change Leaders. The company is also working closely with government, community based organizations and frontline health workers to build their capacities for sustainable behavior change in the communities of these villages.

The " Dettol Banega Swachh India " has set an example of a cohesive and value based response to the national agenda of Swachh Bharat Mission and has been well received by the Honble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Government representatives. The campaign has been recognized for its unique approach Changing Behaviour: Creating Sanitation Change Leaders being implemented at a grass root level. The campaign has undertaken various initiatives across a diverse spectrum spanning sustainable livelihood, hygiene and sanitation, health, education, and gender.
