OUR VENTURES

Education forms an important marker of human development and is included in the widely used human development indices. Education is also a key for socio-economic progress.

The 2011 census, however, indicated a 2001-2011 decadal literacy growth of 9.2%, which is the slower than the growth seen during the previous decade. However, Maa Kalka SewaSamiti, right from its inception, is contributing its bit in providing quality education to underprivileged children.

The Society wishes to contribute in the field of education of small children of deprive section of society. We propose to have the following programmes in this field depending upon the need and financial strength of the society:-

NGO Watch7NanheKadam :

This programme aims to provide pre primary education to children in the age group of 3 to 5 years. The idea is to provide an all round development of the child before he/she moves to primary schools…

Learning Centre :

The idea of this programme is to connect children with the education system those who are out of the school. The method applied in this case would be “Play Way Method”.

Vocational Education Center

Mandoli is the most socio-economically area in East Delhi. MKSS is working in this area for girls and women. The aim is to train and support impoverished basic tailoring, so that they can support themselves and their families. Centre’s aim to make garments to generate income.

Communities are under-privileged with little or no income. Any work they find is low-status, menial and insecure. MKSS has taken initiative to support them.
