In line with the government’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Toshiba Corporation’s global initiative “Simultaneous Social Contribution Action by Toshiba Group’s 200,000 Employees 2015”, Toshiba group companies in India organized a cleanliness drive at a community park in Mayur Vihar Phase III, New Delhi. Cleanliness drive envisaged 60 employees from 8 Toshiba group companies, along with the support and guidance of DPGS.

Toshiba has been celebrating December as CSR month since 2006 and encourages participation in voluntary activities by all of the group’s 200,000 employees. CSR Month reminds employees and stakeholders around the world of the importance Toshiba attaches to turning its guiding principles—committed to people, committed to the future—into real engagement with society, thorough events and activities that raise personal awareness and contribute to the community.
